El Mercadito Mariachi: Reviews & Ratings
I have been coming here since my childhood. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming! It’s like visiting Mexico with all the Mexican products they sell there. And the mole they sell is from Oaxaca. The best mole ever!
Awesome Mexican snacks but parking WILL be packed, especially on weekends. Walk a little and park outside around the cemetery, you'll thank me later also easily accessible thru metro gold line; Indiana station will leave you one block away and you'll avoid the headache but get yo sweet tooth on
This is a review for the Night Market. The prices are high but there are a lot of varieties of Mexican food (there was also Salvadoran, Guatemalan, Italian, and American options). Parking was great.
love it! Haven’t been here for a long time, I think around 10 years long time! But today, I ended up here because of my Ankle Check up appointment for today and we went to El Mercadito Mariachi Restaurant. It was so nice to check in to a place that I haven’t been since, I was a little kid. Loved the restaurant Tacos 5 De Mayo they have so many options for food almost every Mexican food you can think of. I got myself a famous and not to Mexican dish Carne Asada Fries but my dad and mom got the good stuff. A POZOLE & Mole the Pozole looked delicious and the Mole is good for those that like sweetness so much not for the ones that hate to much sweetness. They also serve you chips with salsa sauce. Delicious! I also got a Chocomile from Chocomiles! They are so good get one they have so many options flavors, I got Mazapán Chocomile really delicious for those that like Mazapán candy!
Love this place!!! Feel right at home! Vendors are friendly and if you shop around you can find very good prices. The food is great. Come with the whole family and with plenty of time. Bring the little ones so they can learn about their culture and their people. In a time of online shopping and big retailers, it is a blessing to have places like this still open. Please support your local vendors, you might pay a little more but you will contribute to extending this wonderful experience for future generations. Also, be mindful, these vendors probably were closed during covid but still had to pay for their spaces, so please don't be a lemon.
I was raised in Mexico and was pleasently surprised with the taste and quality becaie this is Perhaps one of the best Mexican Restaurants in California. Their menudo was amazing, and the service was superb. I also enjoyed the live music which was also very good quality. The one thing that really tops it off, that really drives it home is the price. The price is quite decent for the high quality that you get. On personal note. It has a very nostalgic vibe to it. It somehow feels like a restaurant that my parents would take me to when I was a child,(except they never did because we were poor.)
Good spot definitely provides a touch of Mexico my family and I all tried different dishes and they were all amazing bacon wrapped shrimp carne azteca gordita and a filte on mojo de ajo everyone loved the food they also have live performers doing the thing it can get a little loud so it might not be the best place for a meeting but great place for food friends and family
That is a hub for anything. Mexican whatever you want. Hot Food, snacks, haircut, manicures, cakes and Mexican bread, cclothing, toys, apparel. It's like a big giant swapmeat. FYI on the weekends s it gets crowded. So take the metro instead it will be Super fast & easy.
